Rafael Porrata-Doria

Rafael Porrata-Doria has taught at Temple Univeristy School of Law since 1983; prior to that he was a visiting professor at the University of Puerto Rico, Rutgers-Camden Law School, LUISS Guido Carli University (Rome) and at the Lauder Institute of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Before teaching, Professor Porrata-Doria practiced law in Philadelphia and Miami, Florida. From Santurce, Puerto Rico, and a 1977 graduate of the Law School, he has also passed the bar in Puerto Rico and speaks Spanish, English, French and Italian. He has written on securities, and international law; consulted for World Bank, American Law Insititute and Senate of Pennsylvania.

Professor-Professor of Law

Prof. Porrata-Doria is immersed in international and comparative law, international business law, European Community law, securities and corporate law. He also has interests in Community development and healthcare. He is a veteran with over 20 years of service, and has experience and interest in national defense, and operational law.
