
Nathan’s interests include basketball, guitar, hiking, international educational exchange, social justice, Southeast Asian affairs, travel, and warm beaches.
Nathan Camp is Associate Director for Partnership Development in Yale’s Office of International Affairs. As an international education administrator, he facilitates relationships with international organizations, works on faculty strategic partnerships, and manages the Yale Scholars at Risk initiative, among other tasks. He also works occasionally as a freelance academic editor.
Nathan grew up near Philadelphia and has lived in California, Hawai‘i, and New England, and has studied on two occasions in Indonesia. Prior to Yale, he worked for the University of California, Davis, in Global Affairs. He received his BA from Wesleyan University and his MA is from the University of Hawai‘i in Southeast Asian studies, where he also worked with the East-West Center. In addition to English, he sometimes tries out French, Indonesian, and Spanish, with varying levels of success.
