Brief biography: 

Martha Woodcock has been the Director of Development for Yale College and Special Initiatives since March 2012. She came to Yale in 2002 as a major gift officer in the Yale Development Office. Later she became a Deputy Director of Major Gifts in 2007, and then served as Senior Associate Director in Principal Gifts from 2010-2012. Prior to Yale,Ms. Woodcock was a consultant in the executive search industry, and served in development roles at the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University. A Pennsylvania native, she received her BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995. She lives in North Haven with her husband Edward SOM ‘04, and daughter Catherine (age 2 ½).
